Fachwerk houses

Fachwerk is a popular European technology of house building whose traditions are being adopted throughout the world. Currently this method is being improved and supplemented by various construction innovations thanks to application of new construction technologies and materials.
The main technological advantage of a fachwerk house is its skeleton made of glued beams. Walls are just shields. This technology ensures solidity and stability of structures, reliable and durable life of the house.
A framework of the house is manufactured at the Gosstroy mill and is later assembled on the customer’s foundation. Spaces between beams can be filled with different materials (cants, panels, bricks or concrete. Three thirds of spaces are usually glazed with glass with low-emission coating.
Full-space glazing allows you to integrate home space into the garden and environment, to create beautiful panorama views and to fill the house with solar light and energy.
Open beams combined with different space filling allow original house design (both interior and exterior) and layout. As a result you get a styled and elegant house. A simple and economically efficient foundation is another advantage of a fachwerk house.
